I agree with you peter, it seems incredible that all stops for a horse race, albeit an important horse race. But it get worse if you live in Melbourne, I worked on Monday, deputising for a staff member who took a long weekend. It was like driving to the office early on a Sunday morning, there was NO ONE about, the lunch shops in a fairly large industrial area were closed, one could walk into the Post Office and be served immodestly, likewise at the bank. Perhaps we could start a movement to "Stop the Nation" for a few minutes reflection on Anza Day. All the best, Zola
