    3. Hi Denise, I almost didn't bother copying it, as I thought you'd already have it. Catherine is probably the 'Kate' in the Black Springs school records. Amazing what you find just browsing thru old papers. She is survived by another married sister, Catherine, who lives in West Australia. The funeral took place to the Beechworth cemetery on Wednesday afternoon last, the Rev. Father Ryan conducting the burial service, of the Catholic Church. Mr. H. P. Farley had charge of the mortuary arrangements. >

    3. It sure is amazing Ronda. I've had a 'spare' child or two for this family over the years but nothing to connect the parents definitely. I'll have to start again now and look for her birth and marriage etc. Another one goes to W.A.! This could prove interesting because her cousin Jessie - who married Walter Crawford - Walter and children went to W.A. around the turn of the century. I often wondered why they went and have yet to track down their lives, so I bet they crossed with Catherine. And yes, this probably is the Kate you had in the records. Bit by little bit... A new challenge for me and I can hardly wait now until I come home from dinner tonight.
