Chris/Wendy, Wonder if either of you know more on the Lynch family. Since sending the email to Wendy a few minutes ago I have found that Daniel Lynch - father of my connection - ran a punt across the Mitta River at the junction of the Tallangatta Ck. he also had a public house at Tatonga. His punt was near Matthews pub (Thomas and Mary) (???Chris, this yours?) Dan also was involved in the first public meeting for a cemetery in Tallangatta. He eventually was a farmer (Vic Post Office Directory 1884) at Jarvie Creek, then left for Euroa, dying in 1895. Martin the son, my connection, went onto to work for Drying and Dyring, along with J Lynch (don't know a connection yet) - a daughter still lives in the UMurray. Denise
