Hi All, As always looking for some assistance. I have the wonderful book 'EDI The History of Early Selection and Settlement" by John Newton on page 109 there is a reference to the John Heywood property as being once in the name of Pearce & Barter. My g Grandmother Mary Elizabeth HART married John PEARCE in 1860, he died of gun shot wounds !!! on May 16 1877, she then married George BARTER February 13 1878. I am wondering if anyone has any records of the dates this land was in the name of Barter & Pearce. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Zola
