    3. Hi Jenny, Yes, everyone would like me to list those hostages, but for the time being I will keep them to myself. It has taken me over two years of hard work to find their names. James Reardon was the one who counted 62 hostages but the question is who did he count? Did he count the 25 odd children, the two babies in arms or just the boys and men. One of those I am having a hard time finding any information on is one in my own family, Catherine Curnow, the sister of Thomas Curnow and the owner of the red llama scarf. Catherine went to Tasmania and married a man by the name of John Trudgeon in 1882 then had a family of six children. I have found one descendant but no one seems to know anything of Catherine. I would also like to find something more on John Stanistreet and his family. I am also interested in everyones thoughts and views or anyone who is a descendant of anyone involved in the siege I would love to talk to you. I know it's a lot, but can you list them all, or even just the ones you're most interested in? I'm sure you'll start some intersting conversations! > > -- > best wishes, > > Jenny Coates > > ______________________________
