Bev - I have three email addresses. I get hundreds of spam per day, it is pest, but not much to do about it,, except changing email addresses - but this only works until you have used your new one on the net for a while. However, if changing your email address you lose the chance of someone finding you if you have left a message somewhere eg the archives of this list. I have an old one - must be 5 years old and it has only spam on it. However, once every couple of months I find a letter from someone, and most of these have been so great a new family, new cousin, new connection, I can't possibly cancel this address. I have one which gets no spam - that is my Google mail address. I am always getting the opportunity to invite 6 friends to gmail - let me know OFF LIST if you want a free email address. It's a new concept, but pretty good. regards Denise > Goodmorning All. > > Just turned on the PC and once again there is the email, > from the Ivory Coast this time, wanting me to take money > etc. Obviously all a scam, but I wonder do any of you get > it as well. I get stacks of spam. Mostly offering cheap medecine or a wonderful sexual experience or a larger penis... But occasionally one of the financial or bank scams pops up. I just delete it all as soon as I see it. It seems quite easy to pick it! Just tried the mailwasher site - I am not willing to pay, at lest not at this stage. I will have to contact my ISP about their version of it but first - what IS that pesky password I need to use to get into the ISP site?
