Bryan, would there be any chance that there is only one son Francis that Ann Trimble perhaps died - ran away - and left Francis with Francis Sr and his wife. Perhaps the couple registered the child as their own? Chris and I are following this with great interest for Martell is amongst our research subjects and whilst we so far have found only a few details on him, we certainly will keep an eye on the papers for his name. regards Denise
