    3. Hi all My ears are burning! Away for four whole days and I miss something about my dear old great grand uncle John. Is it likely that a rollicking, feisty Irishman would be riding home whilst in the arms of Morpheus (in other words asleep) or drunk ? Not at all likely <g>. Would be rather in line with the rest of the family's antics. I feel so sorry for their mother, Catherine (2gg grandmother). They didn't change much for the better until Thomas' son, Francis, became mayor of Forbes NSW. At least he seems to have been a sober, responsible gentleman (I think). I would love to have known them. Mum would have fitted in like a hand in a glove.
