Hello Listers For those of you that are interested, there will be a book launch on Sunday, 12 September 2004 from 1.30pm at the Edi Hall of the following book: 'Edi: The History of Early Selection & Settlement, 1850 - 2002' The author is John Newton, a fourth generation member of a well-known Edi family (and also my cousin!!!) and the book is four years in the making. The book will be launched by Mr Ken Jasper (MLA, Murray Valley). There was a big article about this in the Wangaratta Chronicle on Wednesday, 25 August 2004 pg 2. If anyone would like a copy, I can scan it & e-mail it to you. The book should be a very very interesting & enlightening read to all.
