    3. Hi Wendy Well this is from an offshoot of my father's family - most of whom came from Bendigo area. I haven't done my research properly yet, so I only have names and not dates, but I am interested in a John Hingston Tickell married to a Susannah (aka Hannah) Vigers with at least two children: Mary Ann (born c 1853) who married a Frederick James Crofts and had at least one daughter Florence Crofts 9/2/1890 in Wandilgong; and William who was born c1855. Any of this appear to connect with yours? It's an unusual name. Cheers Merren -----Original Message----- From: Wendy [mailto:wendyfensom@optusnet.com.au] Sent: Monday, 16 August 2004 10:42 AM To: AUS-VIC-HIGH-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [HC] Vigers or Tickell Hi Merren, Yes yes yes. I have a VIGAR (from the high country I think). I also have John TICKELL - one of my ggg-grandfathers - who came to Victoria in 1840. He married an Isabella RAE. More information if you want it. 1. The Olympics - MILNE
    2. Wendy
    3. I thought I should let you know that my nephew, Lachlan MILNE, is representing Australia in the white-water kayaking at the Olympics in the C2 event. They will need a little luck on their side but if determination gets you anywhere then he and his kayaking partner Mark have to have a show for a bronze at least. Heats are on the 19th - only 1 team fom each of 12 countries was allowed to compete. Lachie is, of course, descended from Robert MILNE of the High Country! (No relation as far as I know to the Olympic skiers Malcom and Ross MILNE from Myrtleford)....... Fingers crossed for OZ in the C2 event! Wendy
