Yack Times 24-9-1926 Julia Bidgood Obituary Another pioneer of the district stricken by the passage of time has gone the way of all flesh. At the advanced age of 91 yrs Mrs J. Bidgood of Staghorn died at her home on Wednesday last. The deceased had a long suffering illness. Mr. Bidgood was of a kind and retiring nature which endeared her to a large circle of friends. She leaves a husband, two sons (Frederick and John of Staghorn) and two daughters (Mrs P. Garvey) of Staghorn and Mrs A.Stephens to mourn their loss. Her remains were interred in the Yackandandah cemetery on Thursday in the presence of a large assemblage of friends. The Rev J. Townsend officiated at the grave.
