Good morning. I'm looking for family connections to the family CHESNEY. I don't have much to go on really but Robert Chesney died in 1918 in Fernvale near Tallangatta. I believe this may have happened at the home of my Haeffner family. He had lived in the area for 20 years, was 84 years of age. He used to farm at Boranduda then was a saw miller near Wodonga. I don't know his wife's name. One son - William lived at Robert's death in Narrandera, a daughter at Fernvale (Eliza) and another daughter in New Zealand (Mrs Haeffner) Robert is buried in Tallangatta.
