I am interested in any information about James FORTUNE who married Mary Whitty in 1861. They were living in the Oxley, Laceby area over the next 20-30 years. I would love to know if anyone has them in their family tree. Regards Judy

Hi Judy, I don't know about James Fortune, but Doll Fortune M Wm Burke Jnr., who was a brother to Mrs Annie Porter, of King Valley. There were several of the Fortune family living at and about Edi in the early 1900s.
