Well Peter, congratulations. You've obviously worked pretty hard at this, there's not been much cheek on the list from a certain quarter. Good work, and I hope it sells well for you, Denise ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Ross" <rossof@ozemail.com.au> To: <AUS-VIC-HIGH-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 23, 2004 4:26 PM Subject: [HC] Yackandandah Cemetery CD > The Yackandandah Cemetery CD is, at last, ready to go! > > It's not as detailed as Dianne Carroll's wonderful CDs, but I hope you'll > find it useful. Thanks Denise. Hard work, long hours, but fascinating stuff. I'm not expecting a lot of cheek! Some, maybe? Whatever, I'm now very pleased with it. It is basic but easy to use. Incidentally, have you seen the new brochure put out by Indigo Shire called " Beechworth 'Echoes of History', Follow the Pioneers... A self-guided tour of the Central Business District of Historic Beechworth, Victoria"? It is absolutely wonderful, obviously mentioning C & C, but perfectly done to my mind. Let me know if you'd like a copy? I would love a copy Peter if you wouldn't mind. I have the book Echoes of History, but this self guided tour may well come in handy next year when all theCrawfords descend on town - including several Americans. Watch out Peter, unless you want to meet your kindred spirit again, stay clear! I have recently done up a self guided tour of Hiram haunts for the people attending, so it will be interesting to see what is different. I have taken my tour over 50 years of various ventures and sites around the northeast and takes up about 10 pages. Ought to keep them busy for a while at least! We are also having another movie night at Chiltern. More than welcome to come if you like! I don't know if it is purely for Crawfords or other locals as well, but the offer was there for us. The more the merrier I think, so think about it. There promises to be a surprise or two. Of course you are more than welcome to come for "lemonade" one night. Cousin Bob and wife and my family will be in town for several days before the big event. All promises to be very exciting and fun.
