    3. Hi Jackie, These Brumleys come from Mortlake area (I've strayed a bit from the High Country). Charlotte Blewitt married a Brumley. Part of my efforts putting all the Victorian Blewetts/Blewitts into families. It hasn't helped me find my missing John Blewett, last 'seen' in Hillsborough in 1877, but it has been very interesting all the same, and you never know! The Mortlake cemetery details are online, which has been really handy. Lots of Brumleys burried at Mortlake. 3. Thanks Chris, In the paper in the following weeks after this it appears Blewett & party spent their time trying to pump the water out of the mine. Not sure the venture was a huge success - 110 quid to Mr Bigelow could have been a bit generous. (Sorry Anthony!)
