Hi All, I'm wanting to make contact with the descendants of Ellen Theresa ALCORN (nee DUGGAN). Ellen was born to John and Ellen DUGGAN (nee DEANE) at Murchison in 1874 . She married Henry ALCORN in 1900. Ellen ALCORN died at Wangaratta aged 69 in 1946. At the moment, I'm not even sure if there are descendants as I cannot find any children born to this couple. Hoping someone can help. Regards Anne

Hi, Just to let you know that I haven't forgotten those people researching McCormack who replied to my question regarding the picture of 'Cousin Bill' and who were interested in a copy of the photo. So far I have been unable to verify that he is a McCormack. I've kept your names on file & if he does prove to be a McCormack will let you have a copy. Carolynne (NZ)
I haven't had any luck in obtaining a Death certificate for Julia O'Meara (O'Mara) MORAN. I have a picture of her grave in Buckland Cemt. However, there doesn't seem to be a Registry entry for her death. Has anyone researching the MORAN family managed to discover what Julia O'Meara's mother's maiden name was? Carolynne (NZ)
Carolynne, To the best of my knowledge these two Michael Morand and Julia, nee O'Mara were born and married in Ireland. I have been trying for ages to find out Julia's parents names but to no avail. These are all part of my family, too. Listed below are some of the names of staff employed by Delatite Station in 1845. These names came from a Half Yearly Return submitted by the owners of the property, Messrs Chenery & Goodman. I've had to leave off two names, both men who were shepherds as they are v. difficult to read. James AMOR & wife - General Servants John WATSON - Bullock Driver someone (given name is unclear - possibly John or Tomas (without the 'h') HARRY - Bullock Driver James LITTLE - Hutkeeper Cheers Anne
