I realise this is not a goldfields topic, but at present I am only on one Australian list. Found a post card in an antique shop with a photograph of: Honor Company, Sydney Grammar School, 1913. One of the students was George Gordon RUSSELL. There are lots more cards at the shop pertaining to the RUSSELL family. Names: Mrs Stanley RUSSELL, c/- Grand Hotel Bournemouth UK Mrs Hanley RUSSELL, Wormald Bros Sydney NSW Also Robert RUSSELL was mentioned also Granley Lodge, York. Nrs Hanley Russell is very close to Mrs Stanley Russell.. A big swirly capital S followed by a lowercase t in copperplate scrawled a bit could well be read as H.. Maybe the same person? Wish they were my family!
