Hello, Most of the Camp Street police precinct is now part of the University of Ballarat Arts Academy. You should be able to enter the buildings, but some rooms may have classes in them. One of the Court HOuses is now used as an administration area for the Ballarat Fine Arr Gallery, so would not be open to the public. An early Court House in Lydiard street is now used as a performing Arts Centre in the University of Ballarat's SMB (School of Mines) complex. I have some photos in the university's Historical Collection. IS there anything in particular you are looking for? This thread has piqued my interest as my late mother lived as a child in a house in Tress (spelling?) street which she told me used to be a police station. She took me to see it when I was a child, but by that time is was abandoned and derelict. I remember it was right up the top of a hill. Does anyone have any info about this place?
