Hi My ggrandfather John Lotu Cawble Macfarlane B 18.5.1826 Renfrew Scotland M Susan Attfield B 17.10.1836 Surrey England had 7 children 2 B Dunolly 3 B Amherst 1B Kingston 1B Prahran. I have all the details of the family except John's death. The last child born was Robert Reid Macfarlane in 1869 who died at 35 weeks at Springhurst. John's parents were Robert Macfarlane and Catherine Brown. Then there is a gap. Susan died at Traralgon 6.12.1905 and is shown as a widow. Her obituary doesn't mention John and we don't know where he died. He is not in the Traralgon cemetery. There are many listings of just John Macfarlane in the BDM's some with unknown parents.
