Dear list, I think its about time I had another look for my ancestors. William Barton Farr mined at Brown's Diggings, Durham Lead, Sebasterpol, Italian Gully and then around Maryborough in Alma, Timor and Maryborough. I am particularly interested if there are school records of Timor or Alma in the 1870s and 1880s, as Farr and his wife had children during that time. My grandfather Peter Harle married Farr's daughter Elizabeth in 1883. He was 48 and she was 18, and we have no records of his mining activities prior to his marriage. His address was Homebush at the time.
