I have a copy of an admission to Ballarat District Hospital on 30.6.1872. My great grandfather JAMES RAE/REA was reported to have been suffering from a fracture of the orbital plate, and spent 10 days in hospital. I have been told that this injury is common in footballers and boxers. As he lived at Windermere would anyone have any idea where I could look for football clubs, or boxing connection for that area at that time? Thanks Margaret
