Could SKS suggest a line of enquiry Hi Pat, Could perhaps be Illogan, an adjoining parish to Redruth? A lot of Cornish migrants migrated to South Australia first, and them came to Vic during the gold rushes - which might explain why you can't find their migration in Vic records. Death certificates in Vic will usually give an estimate of how long the person had been here, which might narrow down your searches for shipping records, etc. Cheers Susan
