I checked some of the indexes - no luck I'm afraid .. also - and this is perplexing - there doesn't seem to be any record in the indexes of Victor's birth in 1914 .. and in the indexes for the period 1914-1920 there seems to be only one person that may be Victor - and this Victor apparently was born in 1917 to a Jack JAMES and a Sarah Robbins. To help work out whether Victor was married or had children it would be good to know Victor's birthplace - Victoria is just too general - it may also help to know when and where Victor's parents were married .. maybe they were married overseas or in another state and that is where Victor went to get married???? Sarah's maiden name may also help.... good luck Robert ps - Is Victor still alive? - he may be able to supply the answers himself?
