Yes, all I have is the death certificate for Catherine MITCHELL, as that is the only official record we have been able to find. We can't find a death for Thomas MOORE that's certain, without buying 3 or 4 certificates. What we know is that Catherine was born about 1828, in England, but no idea where, Father Richard BARKER, mother Elizabeth ?. (This information from the death certificate, informant husband Robert MITCHELL.) She married Thomas MOORE, no idea when, as we can't find that marriage either, it may have been in England. Can't find them on the immigrations indexes. They had one son, Thomas Macedon MOORE, no birth registered, supposedly born in Macedon, Vic, abt 1853. About 1868, when she was 40 years old, she married Robert MITCHELL, supposedly in Maryborough. She died in 1892, aged 64, after supposedly spending 39 years in Victoria. Robert MITCHELL knew very few details of the first marriage. And that's all the information we have. Would be delighted if anyone can shed any light at all on the two marriages.
