Greetings listers, I have PERRY families who moved to the Elmhurst and Avoca area in the 1880's after first living in the Gisborne area. Edmund PERRY married Elspeth SCOTT in Gisborne in 1869, and I have links with their descendants via several marriages. I have established that Edmund's parents were Robert PERRY and Ann START. Edmund was born c1847 near Melton. So far so good. But I also have James PERRY married to Alice START, who I had at first wrongly thought were Edmund's parents. I can't tie them in, but they must belong to this line somewhere. Maybe James and Robert PERRY were brothers, and Ann and Alice START were sisters?? Is anyone else researching these families?
