Good Morning; Another interesting death certificate I have in my files. Does the cemetery ring a bell with any list member? Reg. District: Nerring. Death: 28 June, 1862, Sailors Gully. Name: Maria HOWARD. Age: 18 months. Parents: John George Howard (Lawyer) and Martha Howard. Burial: 2 July, 1862 - Bullock Creek Cemetery. William Wylie, Undertaker. No minister at burial, parents witnesses to burial. I found that Nerring is between Ballarat and Beaufort, but cannot locate a Bullock Creek. I also noted that Marong (near Bendigo) was also called Bullock Creek but this cemetery is a long way from Nerring which was the Registration District for this death. Hello David, My family came from Marong area and many of them were buried at Bullock Creek Cemetery which is now Marong Cemetery. My g/father, John WILLIAMS, lived at Nerring which is just out of Marong so I think that fits your description. I don't know anything about the other locality you mention. I have maps that show the area around Marong and Nerring and shall send them to you privately if you wish.
