James (a miner originally from Ireland) and Isabella (nee REID, originally from Scotland) ELLIOTT arrived in SA from Plymouth 1857, with sons John and David. They moved to Vic goldfields (don't know how/when) and had the following children: James b. 1859 Smythsdale; Abraham b.1861 Black Hill; Marrian b 1865 Scarsdale (d.1866 Scarsdale); Isabella b. 1867 Sebastapol and Violet b. 1870 Springhurst. The family moved to the Hunter Valley NSW abt 1875. Does anyone have any information about this family during their time in Victoria, please?
