Hi Pat, all though this will not actually help you, it is to let you know that the death certificate isn't all that it may seem. My grandfathers death cert said he was BURIED at Melbourne General, when in fact he was CREMATED at Fawkner Crematorium. So look out side the square, perhaps look at where his wife or family were buried. That may give you some clues.
