I would like to express my utter disgust that we have LOOTERS already at Maiden Gully. My aunt and uncle Joy and Bob Bice who are the soul of the earth people lost their home in Maiden Gully Rd, and everything they own. Now they are told to go and trawl through the debris for anything valuable as it won't be there tomorrow. My family has been in the Eaglehawk area since 1853 and it sickens me to think these are local people. I am glad in one way that my nan Daphne Shadbolt is no longer around to see this happen. I am trying to get as much together for the family as I can, as it seems a waste to spend the government grant on clothes. Sorry if people are offended by this email, my husband is a firefighter and out putting these fires out, and now the devastation has hit family I need to do all I can to help them now Lyn Baker (nee Priest)
