There are so many Taylors that I can't seem to find anything at all on this particular family perhaps if they had middle names it would be easier. I purchased their marriage certificate but can't make out much. Searching for marriages of the children, burials, ancestors etc..... Hi, I had a brief look at the Vic indexes and noticed that there was another child not included in the list - in 1891 a daughter Emily was born to James Taylor and Ellen White at Kangaroo Flat. May I ask - where is Clippenham in Victoria? Is it a property name? looking at the electoral rolls it is noted in 1936 May aka Maisie and Valentine DONOWA were registered to vote in Bankstown NSW - perhaps the rest of the Taylor family were also in NSW? in 1909 an Ellen TAYLOR and a Jessie TAYLOR were both registered to vote at "FAIRVIEW", Bramble Street, Bendigo - I wonder whether this is the 2 daughters Ellen and Jessie? or possibly mother Ellen and daughter Jessie? or maybe not related at all? Anyhow - common names such as White and Taylor do present many problems Perhaps some answers are availbale on the death cert. for James in 1904 and the marriage cert. for Maisie in 1922. maisie's birth certificate would also help out with information concerning siblings? Maybe Maisie's death cert. in Bankstown in 1966 would help? Checking the Bendigo newspapers for James TAYLOR obits may also assist.... does the Ballarat archives office have microfilm of Bendigo newspapers for 1904? good luck Robert in Melbourne one time owner of a cottage in Cosmo Rd ....
