If you put Maryborough and Dunolly Advertiser in the search field in the newspapers online in Trove you will find thousands of extracts/news items from the paper which were obviously syndicated to other papers, in particular the Argus. If anyone has a particular interest in the area there is heaps to do in editing the OCR scans and making them readable for other generations. It is easy to register and log in thereafter is simple. http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/result?q=Maryborough+and+Dunolly+Advertiser My interest is the /Camperdown Chronicle/ and I find it fascinating, addictive and rewarding to edit/fix while learning about the past in my home town. I use my maiden name as my search and have unearthed heaps of family information.
