Be careful about typing out the book and republishing it online as it is still in copyright. (Copyright generally remains with the author until 70 years after the authors death). Copies of Weickhardt's book, and many others on Clunes, can be purchased from the Clunes Museum - which is also a great museum to visit. Are you going to type it out and publish it at any stage? I believe some of the Lean family were mayors in Clunes. Do you have any info on them?
