    3. The "repat" is still there and though being altered, let fall down in parts etc, parts are still being used as outpatients section from the Austin Hospital. I would be most surprised if there were any records kept there though - the whole place seems ripe for the developers to move in. (Whether it would be for housing or hospital or high rise, I cannot tell.) I have attended there as an outpatient occasionally at a special clinic, last visit a good two years ago now. Also my daughter lived until a couple of months ago in Waterdale Rd - I used to pass it on the way to visit her. I live within a few km of it, but have not been over that way for some time. I believe the old place is still there but has closed as a hospital. Someone on the list will know more about this than I do, but I have an idea that servicemen and women are now treated elsewhere, maybe at the nearby - and recently rebuilt - Austin & Mercy Hospitals, which share a common site in Heidelberg. I think your best bet would be to first contact the Defence or Federal Health Departments, before you head out to Heidelberg on what could be a fruitless trip to a hospital that no longer exists.
