Hi Listers ------------------------------------------- A reminder from Rod McErval The communities of Waterloo and Chute are still in the process of researching the history of the area to publish a book in 2013. We are holding an information gathering day on Sunday April the 10th starting at 1pm at the Beaufort RSL rooms in Willoby st Beaufort. Please bring along your history where we can copy it and scan any photos you might have. Our author Mr Hugh Carroll will be in attendance. So far we have been able to contact nearly 100 people who's past family members were once part of this thriving gold mining area.
