My main research interest on this list is the family and descendants of, and connections to, Donald McPHERSON and his three wives - Janet McARTHUR, Sarah McLEAN and Maria NOLAN. Donald and his first wife, Janet, arrived in Vic from Scotland in 1853 and settled almost immediately in Stawell. Janet died shortly after and he then married Sarah - who died 10 years later. A year later he married Maria who, in turn, passed away in 1883. Donald lived on until 1898. the older of the tworobbos at Bairnsdale
