    3. The Moree FHS, NSW is researching the men who signed the petition for Moree to become a town in 1859. Richard Glazebrook has us stumped. After trawling through BDM,s, convicts, immigration the only reference to a Richard Glazebrook is in the Melbourne Argus unclaimed letters in the 1850's. Was he at Moree then? The next time he is mentioned is 1868 as a shareholder in the Ballarat Fire Insurance Co. In 1869 the National Insurance Co took over the Ballarat Company. Seems to be plenty of Glazebrooks in the Goldfields area. Would appreciate any help with this puzzle. Would the Insurance Co records still be in existance somewhere? This may not even be the man. Thank you. Leslie tillaloo@bigpond.com
