Hi Mark, I have some old home movies shot in Lake King, Metung around 1958-1964 which show a regatta at Metung and many of the old boats. It shows Bulls Shipyard, the yacht called the "Metung", lots of old "woody" speedboats, the Wallagarah? tug boat .The quality is not bad considering the age of the movies. I have had them transferred from the old Super 8 to Video to DVD. I am probably not clever enough to edit them out of other movies but would be happy to send you a burnt copy. I have a few old photos of some of the boats too. My family lived at Metung from 1951-1971, we had an old fishing boat which had been converted to a diesel motor, I remember we called it the "Medic" and I think it was not looked after and was sunk when we sold it and left the area. I would be happy to send you copies of the photos.
