Hello Joy Perhaps you could consider looking at the Sentinal Times which comes out of Wonthaggi and Korrumburra or the Great Southern Star (published since 1890) which comes out of Leongatha. Both these papers report on news from the Grantville (Bass Coast) region. To my knowledge copies of most newspapers end up in the State Library system. Good luck! The Sentinel Times is a name for the local papers for Wonthaggi/Korumburra area as two papers merged eg, Korumburra Times & Wonthaggi Sentinel. For Wonthaggi papers for 1934 you would need to look at either the Powlett Express or the Sentinel. Regards Doug Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.yahoo.com
