Hi Linda et al, James CLYNE m. Janet Meiklejohn DUNNETT 1877. They were second cousins. Janet's mother, Annie MEIKLEJOHN was first cousin to James' mother Elizabeth SINCLAIR (m. David CLYNE as mentioned below). Annie MEIKLEJOHN is younger sister of Barbara MEIKLEJOHN (m. Donald WILLIAMSON mentioned below) so there is a MEIKLEJOHN connection but I don't have a connection between Donald WILLIAMSON and Walter WILLIAMSON (of course there may be one...). The MEIKLEJOHN family is very large. Annie and Barbara are two of 16 children. Happy to share what I've got on CLYNE and MEIKLEJOHN. Contat me off list at [email protected] Cheers, Ian >Hi Everyone, > >I am working my way through my notes, and do have a details of a >descendant of Walter Grieve Williamson and Margaret Clyne, through >their daughter Margaret (b.1862) who married Edward Pirie ALLARDYCE. >I am a little confused where some people fit in - if you desire to >contact that person, e-mail me offlist a [email protected], as >I am unsure if anyone apart from Ian is interested in this family. > >It gives Walter Grieve WILLIAMSON as the son of John WILLIAMSON and >Elizabeth MALCOLM, and born Caithness.
