A quick potted history of Emily in Gippsland is: - Arrived Alberton 19 June 1849 as Mary Emily Archer, working for Mr Stewart (via Pemberton from Ireland). - Married Jervase Mullins 18 October 1849 in Alberton, and had children Jane in Strathfieldsaye and James in Stratford. - Had children with William Barker in areas such as Donnelly's Creek: Elizabeth, Emily, William, Valentine, Margaret from 1862 and was selector in Seaton 1874. - Married William Barker 11 June 1875 in Sale - Married Richard Maxey of Sale on 8 May 1883 - Died York St Sale 30 Sept 1890, buried C of E Sale.
