Much has been said in the press about National Parks not being "Cow Paddocks". They seem to forget it was a "Cow Paddock" long before being a National Park. If they want to do something about preserving the wilderness get the ski tows off the mountains. I whole heartedly agree with you Heather. If they feel so strong about the issue, they should start a forum page else-where on the subject and leave this one to family history reaearch.
