    3. Hi Everyone, Just to confuse the issue, I have had a look at the Rosedale Shire Honour Roll - and another possibility is A.P. INGLE. I think they were a Flynn family, weren't they? Or somewhere out that way??? If he had some tenuous connection, such as he had worked in the area, so tenuous that, in those times of lesser communication and literacy, someone couldn't quite get the spelling right, that could be another long shot???? I think there are plenty of easy-to-find INGLEs around Traralgon who could possibly indicate if there is any basis at all for a connection. And, even worse (and this is total speculation), we aren't dealing here with a name-change from German, where he was originally something like EINSEL (pure guesswork for spelling)? That happened a lot in the first war, didn't it???? My German isn't that good (well, it is non-existent), but that is another option - whoever it is enlisted under an Anglicised name, but the locals made a best guess at what his name was for the roll???
