Hi Jan, I was just a tad confused re the details Graeme had listed re the parents of Clara SAUNDERS I have been unable to pin down a Thomas SAUNDERS with an Elizabeth KNOWN, so any assistance is welcome. The only Thomas SAUNDERS I have been able to find married Mary Boucher. I guess what I am really after is how Graeme came by Clara being born to Isabella CLARKSON & James McGOWAN and that Isabella had 5 spouses. Are you able to shed any light on how he came be these details. Hi Lorraine, It was actually originally Thomas Saunderson (the on got dropped when he came to Victoria) who was Married to Isabella Clarkson, Isabella is Clara's mother but her father was James McGowan, Isabella was quite a woman she had 5 different partners two of them legal husbands.
