Hi Everyone, Thanks to Eric I have now been able to find the online Journal index - it is at http://210.15.209.254/journal.htm It is good, but not perfect - I put in Licola, Glenmaggie and Heyfield - which are all mentioned in the classic 1927-1931 discussion on how the Hunters came to Gippsland (over the ranges in 1841 and 1844, with a failed attempt at the same route by Tyers in 1843). And there are no hits. Along much the same lines, you would be lucky to find your family name - but put in places such as Tarraville, and you will get heaps of background reading. Thanks Eric!
