Thanks Eric and Walter for your suggestions. Have just checked all the PRO on-line admission books for Yarra Bend and Kew but with no luck. All the other asylums are too far away or don't have on-line records for 1901/1902. Think I'll just have to wait until I get into the PRO and see the inquest. Hopefully that will be later this week so I'll report back just what C. Hill is short for! Jenny
