Thank you everyone for your suggestions. It is now solved. Edgar Thomas BOND and his wife commenced E.T. BOND and Son, funeral directors (I didn't check when the son, Graham/Graeme was formally added) in 1964 in Morwell, and as spotted by Majella, amalgamated with Gippsland Funeral Services in 1975. That is the same year as E.T. Bond died. Graeme BOND continued on as part of Gippsland Funeral Services for a while. D.I. was good with that phone number - although it is way out of date. That number now rings through to Gippsland Funeral Services. And Jenny did have the right one in the 1930s. Thanks all - just had a lovely time with G.T.'s daughter-in-law and grand-daughter, who had E.T.'s widow on the phone. Cheers Linda
