He arrived in Sale (Flooding Creek) 1845 where only five white people then lived. She didn't remarry: Surname: BALL Given Names: Isabelle Louise Father: Aitken John Mother: Eliza POWE Death Place: SALE Age: 86 Age Code: Year: 1965 Reg Number: 8092 Event: D There are no references to either in Peter Synan's index to the Gippsland Times to 1900. Hi Linda, Thank you for your help with Isabelle's death. I don't know if John Ball in Sale cemetery is any relation to Adam Ball. I can not find any connection at this stage. Adam was also buried in Sale, Cemetery (22 July 1919). Adam's father was John Ball but he died in Murrumburrah, NSW, in 1880. Also Adam's son John died in 1898 at Wagga Wagga, NSW. Adam's parents came to Australia around 1856 via New Zealand from Staffordshire, England when Adam was only aged about 8 years old. The family spent some time in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Adam and his brothers Thomas and Henry then moved to various parts of Victoria to raise their own families. If John Ball was an early pioneer of Sale, is there any record of where he came from? He could of course be a cousin of Adam Ball. Thanks again for your help.
