    3. Thanks Annie, I think that was what I was after. So she was in Mitchell Street first, and then "Gwandalyn" (later "Riverview") by 1931. So I forget who this started with, but the 1914 birth will have been at the Mitchell Street hospital. Anyone know where that one was? 3. A little more on Sister Bull and where she was. The Black Sheep (newsletter for East Gippsland Historical Society and Family History Group) has an article in the pipleine this year on Sister Bull. The society has several images of her and also of the property on the cnr of Pearson and Riverine Street (37 Riverine Street) that was later known as Riverview just before and as being demolished in the late 1970s (I think). The current complex of 15 "town houses" on the site are called Riverview. We also have images of her hospital in Nicholson Street (believed to have been on the site of the present car park entrance between the old Dahlsen/Myer site and the old Humphrey cellars building). (But please don't ask for copies at the moment as we are reshuffling photographs and I can't easily access it to check the time frame....) The other thought we have had is that the addresses listed on the electoral roll may be her residence (with parents ???) as distinct from her "hospital" as she may not have lived on site. Sister Bull was the midwife for over 5000 births in Bairnsdale and one of the cots from her hospital is displayed at the museum. Anyway more to come in a future issue of Black Sheep Debbie (Editor BS) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Barraclough" <kapana@netspace.net.au> To: <aus-vic-gippsland@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 20, 2008 11:17 AM Subject: Re: [AVG] Sister Bull > Thanks Annie, > > I think that was what I was after.
