Good afternoon all Does anyone happen to know anything about the Gippsland Tile Works? I have come across a building in Sale constructed c1950 or earlier that would appear to have terracotta tiles on the roof. However, upon closer inspection from underneath, the tiles have the appearance of concrete and have "Gippsland Tile Works" cast into them. I am hoping that someone may be able to tell me the approximate date/s this company manufactured tiles, and if they manufactured only concrete products or if, by chance, they produced terracotta tiles.
