Congratulations to Peter Synan, from Sale, for receiving a largeish (well, it looks large to me) grant to advance his work on George Henry Wise, Member of Federal Parliament for Gippsland, and his involvement in Federation. Also noticed Dr Tom Griffiths (who did much work in the Maffra Shire, and around the Noojee area) has received an even larger one for a history of Antarctica.
